Alumni Gathering
at MidWinter in Florida!

The staff and family of YFC cordially invite you to join us at our annual staff retreat, MidWinter, in Orlando, Florida, February 1 - 5, 2010.

 

Your registration of only $159 will include a kick-off Alumni Dinner on Monday night, the Missionary Dinner on Thursday night, Morning Bible Hours, the Evening Family Sessions, three lunches and the Closing Session, and more. For small additional fees you can also join us at the Golf Outing and the 21st Century Leadership Pre-Training Event.

This year MidWinter is hosted by Northland, A Church Distributed, in their new, state of the art, Longwood facilities. Northland is a "raving fan" of YFC, having been a supporting partner of our work for over 20 years, and they are ready to bless us and serve us. Longwood is just a hop, skip and a jump from Orlando, home of Disney World, Universal Studios, and much, much more.

Speakers: Morning Bible Hours will include teaching from Rev. DeForest "Buster" Soaries, Senior Pastor, long time friend, DCLA speaker and former national board member of YFC. Tuesday's Evening Session features Steve & Judy Douglass, President, Campus Crusade for Christ. Wednesday's Evening Session feature Dr. Joel Hunter, Senior Pastor of Northland Church. Lodging: Alumni are encouraged to stay at the Hilton Orlando/Altamonte Springs. YFC has arranged a special rate of $99 per night. There are a limited number of rooms available at this rate so make your reservations soon. For reservations please call 800-445-8667.

 

Transportation: The Hilton is located approximately 25 miles from Orlando International Airport so car rental is suggested (you'll also want a car to use for your personal side trips to see all that Orlando has to offer). If you do need travel assistance from the airport, we'll come get you - just let us know!

21st Century Leadership: $119. An incredible opportunity to hear from corporate and ministry leaders about leadership principles for the 21st century. Joining former YFC/USA President Dick Wynn is Mark Miller, VP of Training and Development for Chick-Fil-A and popular corporate speaker and consultant Jon Gordon.
