Alumni are Invited to South Africa!

Alumni are invited to YFCI's general assembly (formerly known as Convocation) in South Africa! This will be a special opportunity to see how YFCI is raising up the next generation of young leaders to reach the youth of this world. We would like these new young leaders to be able to interact with "seasoned" YFC alumni. You can bless them and YFC's future with your wisdom, experience, and down to earth advice.

In addition to interacting with YFC's next generation you will be taking in the sights and sounds of South Africa. The YFC Alumni Fellowship is in the midst of planning some very special day trips including a safari to take in the wildlife and an expedition to experience the local culture and cuisine.
 

Dates: September 19th through September 26th. GA 2008 will begin with dinner and opening session on Friday, September 19th and conclude on the morning of Friday, September 26th.

 

Alumni Track: The alumni track is designed to give you first hand view of what YFC is doing in 100 countries around the world. You will be attending the opening and closing sessions of GA as well as selected sessions within the week. There will also be times to interact with staff and young leaders from around the world.

 
Location: South Africa's YFC Training Conference Centre in Magaliesburg, South Africa, located 90 minutes outside of Johannesburg. Magaliesburg is situated in the Hekpoort Valley, a stunningly beautiful area of coniferous forests, crisp streams and rolling hills flanked by the Magaliesburg Mountain Range. Ground transportation to and from Johannesburg International Airport will be provided on the two days prior to the event and on the closing day of the event. 

  

Cost: $3,500 per person. This includes round trip airfare from a U.S. east coast city, ground transportation, lodging, meals, and the Alumni day trips during the conference. It does not include incidentals.*

Could it be Any Easier? The Alumni Fellowship office will be walking through the process with you. This includes all aspects of your trip, from air travel, to lodging, to meals and transportation, to helping with exchange rates!

*Incidentals would include long distant phone calls, souvenirs, etc.
