YFC Alumni Fellowship:
Who, What, Where, Why and How!
Who Are We?
We are a group of staff members and volunteers from around the world dedicated to fulfilling the misssion of the Alumni Fellowship. Byron Emmert is Vice President of Alumni Relations at YFC/USA. Our volunteers are too numerous to mention individually but we are so thankful for them because without their help the AF would not be where it is today!
What We Do:
Our mission is to minister to one another by celebrating our experiences in YFC and providing ongoing means for personal involvement. We communicate to YFC alumni worldwide so that you will know what is happening to each other and within YFC. We plan and facilitate events for alumni to gather together for encouragement and fellowship. We strive to provide the ways and means for alumni to network with one another. We help to create and support a prayer network to communicate blessings, needs and other information for YFC and our alumni. We hope to provide a conduit to provide for personal ministries to and among our YFC family. And finally, we strive to provide trustworthy information and services related to the stewardship of time, talent and treasures which God has entrusted to our YFC alumni.
Where Are We?
Our headquarters are located in Englewood, Colorado. We're right upstairs from YFCI headquarters, and a part of the YFC/USA headquarters. It is exciting to see what God is doing through YFC today in the United States and internationally.
Why?
Alumni Fellowship is here because YFC is doing awesome things nowadays, and you did (and are doing) awesome things while you were involved with YFC, and we feel even more awesome things can be done when you reconnect through the Alumni Fellowship. We hope to encourage you through fellowship with other YFC alumni in your daily walk with God. We feel that some of you can provide encouragement for the staff and volunteers out in the field today by mentoring them or volunteering to help out or even through your stories of the impact that YFC had in your lives. And, in the midst of all this, we hope you have some fun.
How?
